CommentsI apologize for the inconvience I may have caused with my quick and obviously unsatisfactory comment on your artwork. In an attempt to redeem myself from my foolish halfhearted behavior of quickly browsing images which caught my taste I will make a real effort this second go around to critique your work, as you put effort into the piece, you probably expect some effort and feedback from the viewers here at deviantART.
1) The colours. It's not just pink, but you've shaded it. This makes sure it's not just left to a paint filler. It adds dimension and feeling to the piece. this has 3 main colours from which I can tell. white, black, and the colour which is used to represent females (most of the time), pink. 2) the subject. A young female. she is too wearing pink. a white pokadot hair "thing" (sorry the name eludes me). I am guessing this provides evidence that she is young. it's cute. HOWEVER one thing bothers me, and i'd appriciate an explaination why you leave the edges of her face so blurred. I can understand worry that trying to provide an actual shape could ruin it, but I believe you could give a bold border (but not too thick) to it and give it a bit more. again however, personal pref probably. 3) the art as a whole. I am unsure what it is the subject is between. my first guess is locker doors. I am curious what they really are though. I am still bothered by the blurring of the edges of her face though overall from a scale of 1 to 10 i'd give this an 8. infact, after looking at it longer, the blurring of the edges is needed. it adds a softness that you'd expect it a younger person (most of the time). i'd hang it on my wall. thumbs up. sorry for the original meaningless review of your work. -- unoriginality is the new original . Woah!
